Maxim will arrange river rafting in two different rivers. Macaé river and Ribeirão das Lages river, both located roughly two hours from Rio de Janeiro, offering a thrilling experience with falls of levels 2 to 4, no previous experience is required. Here is an idea of what you can expect;
Once you arrive at the Rafting Base, you will receive instructions and the safety equipment to start the rafting adventure which takes around two hours. After an unforgettable day of rafting you will be driven back to base and from there the group returns to Rio, usually stopping for lunch or a snack on the way back.
