Christ, considered as one of the 7 wonders of the world, was inaugurated on 12th October 1931. The engineer was Heitor de Costa Silva. Situated at 710 meters, the visitor has an amazing 360° view over the city Rio de Janeiro.
Sugar Loaf
So named because of its interesting shape formed millions of years ago. Sugar Loaf offers not only a unique view of the city and the Guanabara Bay, it is also a significant location in the history of Rio de Janeiro. Here is the only entrance by ship to the port of the city and at its base was the foundation of the city in 1565.
Tijuca Forest
It's a jeep tour inside the forest; where we stop for an easy walk to Taunays waterfall, following a trail to get in contact with the local natural ecosystem. During the tour we may see tropical animals like monkeys, sloths, butterflies and exotic birds.
