Scuba Diving with MaximRio!
Your muscles and body may need a break from the many extreme sports MaximRio offers. Going diving is a great adventure that will make your vacation much more memorable and MaximRio will make it happen!
MaximRio can take you on a adventure to Arraial do Cabo Marine Reserve, also known Arriaial. Arriaial is considered the best scuba-diving on the southern coast of Brazil. Located two hours by car from Rio de Janeiro, Arraial do Cabo is part of the Costa do Sol (Sunny Coast), which also includes Búzios and Cabo Frio. The turquoise water of Arraial do Cabo is teeming with marine life - turtles, sea horses, moray eels, colorful coral and some exotic tropical fish like the famous Holacanthus Ciliaris. Similar as the near by city of Cabo Frio, the water in Arraial is pristine and clear. Even during the busy summer, the beaches are uncrowded and the clear green water provides an excellent experience for observing the large variety of ocean wild life. There are many different dive sites and you can experience a different dive for a straight month and still not explore all of what Arriaial has to offer!
This optional tour includes:
- Transportation to and from your apartment in a private car/van.
- Complete Scuba equipment: BC, regulator, wetsuit, mask and fins.
- Boat operation, with soft drinks, mineral water and snacks.
- 2 dives for certified divers and 1 dive for "first timers" (with 2 instructors per each group).
- Please be sure to bring your PADI cards and let us know the number of people in your group.
- Dont have your PADI card? Please let us know if you would like to get PADI certified.
- Aproximate duration is 10 hours.
